Our Story
Founders Lloyd and Fontella Henry started from a catering trailer before establishing their restaurant at the corner of Garth and Business Loop in Columbia, MO. With convenient takeout and a spacious patio, the restaurant has a charming and homey feel.
BBQ has been a big part of the founding family, dating back to the 1980s when they owned Lloyd’s Barbecue in downtown Columbia. The company has since grown to include a food truck and mobile trailer for events and catering, as well as a second location on Paris Road in Columbia, starting in early 2022.
Big Daddy’s prides itself on growing primarily by word-of-mouth. Once you try it, you’ll be sure to come back for more!
Our Cuisine
Big Daddy’s serves everything from pulled pork, brisket, ribs, to sausage. These savory meats are served with tender homemade sides such as baked beans. potato salad, and collard greens. To top things off, Big Daddy’s has developed its own special sauce – ketchup based with a bit of a spicy kick.
Coming from a long family history of BBQ, Big Daddy’s is no stranger to the kitchen. Big Daddy’s has stuck to its old school recipes and creations – perfecting cooking methods and batters.
